News from the April 29th Bulletin

Busy Weekend

Next weekend is the day that the Austins, with your help, will be moving their furniture and other things to Junction City. We’ll meet at the parsonage at 9:00. Meanwhile, help is needed for the “Work Hard/Play Hard” Day at the camp. That’s all day, and meals will be provided. (Yes, the movers will also be fed.) But we need to know how many to expect.
Then on Sunday we travel to Onaga for Rural Life Sunday, leaving from here at 9:30 for a 10:30 worship service to be followed by a meal featuring ham balls, cheesy potatoes, and any side dishes brought by members of either congregation.
In addition to all this, we’ll be scheduling a makeup work day at the cemetery, since we were rained out last Wednesday.

Two Breakfasts!

Mothers’ Day is May 13th, so our amazing men will prepare a breakfast for Mom right here in our annex. It will be good, we promise. Serving will take place from 8:30 until 9:00.
The following week is our breakfast for graduates and for those being promoted from eighth grade. That is also Pentecost and Confirmation Sunday, so there will also be a celebration after worship.
